WoW Warrior Crash

Players are searching for the very best tech, and they've all set their sights on Block Constructed decks to help them out with this Realm Qualifier season. Many players are looking to land a spot in the Top 2, thereby ensuring an early invitation to the November tournaments. Organized Play hit a stroke of pure genius with the last Realm Championship. In between the Battlegrounds store tournaments and events like the Darkmoon Faire, UDE filled in the gap with a mid-range competition and tied in some regional pride with the Regional Championship and Qualifier tournaments—more competitive tournaments and varied levels of play are always an outstanding addition.
Block players should count that article as a must read and the deck as a must play. I jotted down some of my thoughts regarding the top decks in the format, but the days of quick Shaman and controlling Priest decks might be coming to an end. It's not the fact that these decks are unplayable, as both decks are still outstanding, but rather, the decks are known and players have begun expanding the diversity and depth of the Block format. In the following weeks, I expect myriad new and interesting decks to find success at Realm Championships.
This is your crash-course in the Arms DPS tree. This tree IS better DPS than TG. This post was written by my Warrior class leader, and I figured I'd share it here.
And here's something else to think about: All of your procs for the majority of your dps will come from Rend ticks to proc OP or Sudden Death Executes. This means that this build is entirely based around crit and raw damage. The more you crit, the higher your chances of SD Executes (which is the main idea of this build). The reason that Rend is so crucial for this Arms build is simple: Rend ticks proc OP. Now think about it. OP on a GCD now instead of your 5 second base one and you give it 50% more crit chance from talents. Virtually all of your OP's will crit, hence giving you a very good chance of proc'ing SD Executes. Glyph of Rending increases the duration of your Rend.. very important you pick this up. The longer Rend lasts, the less rage you waste re-applying it. I highly recommend you download a mod that has a DoT timer on it so that you only find yourself refreshing Rend as its about to fall off.
Your weapon wield is a 3.8 speed weapon. Assuming you have no melee haste your swing timer is 3.8. This means that you will swing your weapon for white damage once every 3.8s. Say you cast your first slam at 1.7 seconds into your swing timer, the slam cast is 0.5 seconds long before it deals yellow damage. As soon as the yellow damage is dealt, your white attack will continue from where it left off, in this case, 1.7 seconds.
Now that I've covered the logic behind the spec, I'll dabble into the key rotation for you. Rotation for this build is very simple now that they have changed the way that slam works. Pre-patch 3.0.2, every time you used slam it would reset your swing timer, thus, having to time your slams accordingly. Post-patch 3.0.2 Slam now suspends the swing timer rather than resetting it.
