Are you willing to play Warrior once again? As a warrior, it is better for you to find the right position for yourself in the action. In a class, Warrior has the ability to stand with any enemy and take huge amounts of damage toe to toe. And also, the Warrior has some abilities such as stun, disarm and reflect enemy spells. A tank or a Melee DPS is the primary roles for Warrior. One of the Warrior's greatest assets is the ability to tank many instances and mobs with specializing as a Protection Warrior. The Warrior class is a very easy class to start and play but can be very difficult to master.
But it does not mean that all Warriors are a tank. You will need to make a decision if tanking is something you want to do. From time to time, you will be asked to tank for a group and that usually means setting targets and the pace of play. Although this does not always mean leading the group, there is an added amount of responsibility involved, and not all players are comfortable with that. No other class has a wider choice of armor or weapons. Warriors have the ability to wear just about any armor including plate (at level 40). Warriors also have the ability to equip just about any weapon and have the ability to dual wield weapons (at level 20) As a DPS Warrior there will be times when a Tank might be taking too much damage and be killed. This could be your time to shine, with your ability to quickly equip a shield and switch to defensive stance you could provide the critical seconds that the party needs to down a mob or boss and prevent a wipe.
In both PVE and PVP, the Warrior is able to provide a lot of benefit. In PvE, the Warrior can supply the group with much needed buffs such as Battle Shout which adds attack power to your group members or Commanding Shout which adds additional health to your party as well as PvP. Likewise, the Warriors have the ability to apply debuffs to your enemies. Demoralizing Shout reduces the attack power of all enemies in a 10 yard radius. Thunder Clap decreases the time between your enemy's attacks, and Sunder Armor reduces your targets armor for everyone in your group. The Warrior also has a great arsenal of crowd control abilities, such as Hamstring which slows and enemy down and Piercing Howl which dazes your enemies and reduces their movement speed. In PvP, one of your greatest tools is the ability to intercept which allows you to charge your enemy, closing the distance with your opponent in the blink of an eye and stunning them briefly.
As a warrior, there are three stances you can choose at your will, like Battle Stance, Defensive Stance and Berserker Stance. Battle Stance is the most balanced stance with a good range of offensive and defensive abilities. Defensive Stance focuses on the ability to take large amounts of damage, and produce threat on single or multiple mobs. Berserker Stance focuses purely on offense. As a Warrior, you have the ability to take a huge amount of damage while also having the ability to taunt an enemy or slow them down when another in your party takes agro. As a warrior, your can be one of the strongest damage dealing classes and many encounters are made much easier when you have a class that has the ability to fill in when you need a second off tank for a specific encounter in the end game.
