Review: Sanctum of the Scaleborn Zone
Author:- Date:2009-1-4 Source:http://www.wowgold1000.com

Introduction:
The Sanctum of the Scaleborn is a dark and mysterious dungeon, plagued by the mighty Scaleborn droags in Tenebrous Tangle. There is quite a bit of dragon lore within the Sanctum, so pay attention to what they say, particularly the hints that the heralds of Dar toss at you! It seems the dragon people of Tenebrous Tangle use this place for their worship of the great Harla Dar. Sometimes you will find scrolls with her written word upon them that tell stories of the dragons of Norrath. It's nice to have some hints as to what those elusive dragons are up to.
The Sanctum of the Scaleborn is one of the many zones that is only accessible if you own the Kingdom of Sky expansion pack. This pack brings lots of good content and a level cap raise, so it's worth considering if you are higher in levels.
Minimum Level
The Sanctum of the Scaleborn is a level 60-70 dungeon zone. It is best utilized in your early to mid 60s, level 70 will be a bit too grown up for this zone.
Connecting Zones
The Sanctum is accessible through the Tenebrous Tangle on the Temple Grounds island.
Quests
Infiltrating the Sanctum: Emissary Kvikz: Emissary Kvikz gives you some tasks to complete for him. He gives you listening crystals then sends you to Guard Graliz, who spawns in the first room inside the Sanctum. You'll then need to head into the Ready Room and place the listening crystals (you will see glowing rings on the floor where they go) around the edges of the room. As you are doing this, kill the warriors to get the orders. Once these are completed, return to Kvikz.
Kvikz gives you 8 inactive listening crystals and sends you off to do more.
You will need to get orders from a builder and an animator, then place crystals around the Barracks and the Oratorium, which are the two rooms following the Ready Room. Reward: Coin.
Infiltrating the Sanctum: Kvikz's Assignment: After completing the previous quest, you are asked to continue your services. You will need to kill Scaleborn trainer, Bladehand trainer (both found in the armory), and the Talonlord Steelrend. These are found in the room southeast of the Oratorium.
Then you will need to inspect the door in the southernmost hallway past the Armory. You'll then need the auto update from the room opposite of the room where you found the Talonlord. Return to Kvikz to complete.
Reward: Coin.
Stone Cold Eyes: This quest starts by examining a stone chest on the 1st floor of the Sanctum. Kill golems for their stones, then return to the chest.
Reward: Coin and throwing daggers.
A Boisterous Alliance: This quest starts with Gibbly the Gallant who is in the jail area of the first floor of the Sanctum. You'll need to kill 3 masters of evil for him. You'll need Orate Sivark, found in the middle of the Oratorium. You may have to kill a placeholder to get him to spawn. Then you need Orate Bozar from the Ready Room. And finally a Herald of Dar in the Oratorium.
Reward: Coin and your choice of Boots of Bashing, Bulwark of the Brave, or Voodoll of Valor.
Soloing Opportunities
As with most of the dungeon zones in EverQuest II, Sanctum is a mostly heroic zone with very little soloing content. There are a couple of solo mobs in the opening hall and room, and that is about it.
Grouping Opportunities
As mentioned above, this is a vastly heroic zone, and so is perfect for grouping. Generally, the best way to approach this zone is to take a few friends, some time, and simply make your way through from start to end. This is not an instance, so you will be sharing room with other groups, which can be frustrating as it can get quite crowded, but you can take different halls down if things get too congested.
There are also a few named mobs that you'll want to snag while you are in here, so keep an eye out for them!
