Information on Blizzard's page

Did you read the information on Blizzard's "Account Cancel" page today? If you did, you will find that there was a reader Dave M. sent this little gag.

He was leaving the game (and frankly, we're sorry to see him go), and he noticed that if you choose "other" as the reason for leaving your account behind, you get another list of more wacky options. And among them (right between "All of my friends quit playing" and "Offline play not available") is that constant point of QQ: "Will of the Forsaken nerf." Pretty funny that in terms of game mechanics, that's really the only listed reason for quitting ("it takes too long to move between regions" is in there as well, though it seems like a strange complaint that the game is too big).

You'd think that the Ret Pally nerfs or Shaman QQ would at least be listed in there somewhere. But no, apparently for all the players that are saying "That's it, I quit" in response to nerfs, only the ones angry about the WotF nerf are actually doing it.

Do you agree with him? One of my friends said that: “I have to disagree...My mage though not well geared just yet can put out a steady 1900-2000 dps. I recently had to change specs from the lvl'ing grind to a more viable raiding spec, so that doesn't help. But when the Tank does a considerable amount of overall damage than I do I think some review is needed. It's not really about class mechanics, it's more about a Class's roll. If you wear Cloth, you're a squishy. If you wear Leather, you are somewhat squishy, all the way up to a plate wearing Meat shield. If a class has to give up survivability with the loss of armor and stamina then there Damage and DPS should go beyond that of a tank. I know threat mechanics are working better due to the increase of damage so I am not overly concerned, just stating my opinion.
DPS should go in order of:
1. Mage- Lack of constant Pet therefore above Locks.
2. Locks
3. Rogues/ DPS druid
3. Hunters- Below Locks due to the fact of wearing Mail armor.
4. Shaman- Both Elemental and Enchancement- again due to mail armor.
5. Death knight- new class so shares the same spot as a Ret Pally
5.Ret Palidan
6. Warrior- All specs.

Yeah I know this is controversial, but that's my view. I know alot agree with me and have quit the game over it, or atleast rerolled to other classes because of disgust with their chosen class.”

WoW movement times can be a little long (depending on where you are going), but they aren't that bad. I'm kinda surprised they haven't sped up Gryphons or expanded the teleport system. I think it is bad. It's annoying to have to juggle hearthstones and workarounds to get back and forth between azeroth/northrend/outlands. And some of the flight times are still a bit ridiculous.

What’s your opinion?
