Dalaran Zone

It is the time for us to talk about the Dalaran zone for our world of warcraft players online who can not wait to take a quick look at it. So we avail ourselves of this opportunity to make mention of it in detail. First and foremost, we want to introduce the zone and make full description in short.
As a magocratic city-state, Dalaran was the second city of the Nation of Arathor, constructed by mages who felt too confined to study in Strom. Long renowned as the focal point for magical study among the Alliance races, the Kirin Tor oversaw the study of the arcane and the collection of magical works and artifacts. Dalaran has been home to some of the greatest wizards of the time like Antonidas, Arugal, Kel'Thuzad, Jaina Proudmoore, Khadgar, Kael´thas Sunstrider and Rhonin. After ravaging the city in the Third War, Arthas and Kel'Thuzad managed to summon Archimonde to Dalaran, who quickly decimated the city. However, a party led by Lord Garithos reclaimed the ruins, and what was left of the Kirin Tor quickly set about rebuilding their beloved city, encasing it in a bubble that distorts time and space to make it impenetrable to any further attack.
With the threat of the insane Malygos and the Blue Dragonflight looming, the Kirin Tor under the leadership of Rhoni, the Kirin Tor have used tremendous magical power hastily to transport Dalaran to levitate just north of the Dragonblight, in Crystalsong Forest to some extent. Making a plan to stock their differences with the Horde with persuasion from Jaina up, the works of Antonidas on the orcs and relations with the reformed Blood (High) Elves, Dalaran will serve as a major stronghold for assaults on the Nexus and even Icecrown itself. As with Shattrath City, Dalaran will not have an Auction House or class trainers, and there will be Horde/Alliance areas similar to the Scryer/Aldor ones in Shattrath. There are also one or two instances planned for Dalaran, but we have no information on these at that moment.
In the World of Warcraft, Dalaran was brought to ruins during the Third War. Prince Arthas, together with the Lich Lord Kel'Thuzad laid siege on the land. The city's thousands of citizens were annihilated. The purpose of the attack was so that Archimonde could be summoned, using the city's magic. After the siege, what is now the Wrath of the Lich King Dalaran neutral city was a pile of ruins.
In the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, Dalaran will be a neutral city. When Malygos made a decision to annihilate all mortal users of magic, the wizards of Dalaran decided to protect the city by levitating it. To reach Dalaran, one can still travel by foot to use a teleport crystal, or use a flying creature or ship. There will be specific areas in the city that can only be accessed by either Horde or Alliance players. Take Alliance players as example, they aren't allowed into the Horde's Sunreaver's Sanctuary, while Horde players can't enter the Alliance's Silver Enclave.
In the Wrath of the Lich King Dalaran zone, there will be lots of things to do and see, such as instances, portals to other cities, and trainers and battlemasters for those who wish to be trained while there. The key is to explore as much of Dalaran as possible and make use of the relative peace that you will experience there. It will be a good respite from all the wars occurring in Northrend. There, you are able to collect up your wits, stock your supplies, or have your armor repaired before joining the war again.
