Changes To Blacksmith

In the World of Warcraft, Blacksmithing is a great profession for some classes. It is mainly reserved for Warriors, Paladins and Rogues. In the game, this profession is great because it offers some of the best plate armor and strongest weapons.
Even though Blacksmithing is a great profession, it is something of money drain. As World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King expansion comes, it has brought with it many new additions and alterations, most of which would be classed as the upgrades or even the improvements. Changes to Blacksmithing are one such 'upgrade'.
Few and far between, Blacksmithing is somewhat one of the professions that have seen significant changes, having always been a somewhat pricy profession, never quite living up to its potential.
One of the most effective money-making schemes has been to make chains for holding your weapon on through a Disarm; however, prior to level 70, you are unable to exercise this option which could take some considerable time.
With the latest Wrath of the Lich King expansion releases, changes to Blacksmithing are afoot, including the targeting of the concept of adding craftable epics and PvP gear that people will actually want to buy. This will make it possible for Blacksmiths to earn gold with their improved craft in new ways, and also take up all new paths with their profession masteries.
As a profession, Blacksmithing will benefit from the new socketing of items, including craftable items at that moment. Blacksmiths will be able to perform and only be able to sell belts that they have socketed, and may only do sockets on weapons and gear through trade windows. As a matter of fact, this will be adding a trade and service aspect to the profession; something that has been conspicuous in its absence up until now.
As above, with the exception of the changes to Blacksmithing, Blacksmiths will also be able to socket their own gloves and bracers with bonuses that are better than most enchants out there.
For the most part, Blacksmiths will be able to craft epic BoE items and sell them at auction and, while they may not be quite on par with raid quality items, they will be the easiest epic items to achieve in the game, and will still reward decent profits for most blacksmiths, because the majority of players still don't go on raids to get those high end items.
General speaking, Blacksmithing can only benefit from the numerous changes and while they may not be enough to significantly boost the Blacksmith's gold making potential, they certainly add new levels and depth to the profession, that were not there previously.
Be you a Blacksmith or be you want to be, it may be well worth your time to continue leveling towards 450 for the benefits of these new options that were not previously available.
Blacksmiths have unique weapons and other armaments that can't be found in the game, but can only be created by blacksmiths. Not only do Blacksmiths can create weapons, mail armor for Paladins or Warriors, and trade items but they can construct special sharpening and weight stones that can be used to temporarily improve weapon damage. What is more, they can create several items that are used as ingredients for other Profession recipes, such as Enchanting. Blacksmiths can create a few items that are needed for quests. They can put these items in the auction house to generate additional income.
Blacksmithing is great for Paladins or Warriors who can use the skill to create their own equipment. It is also good for making money by selling weapons and armor to the classes that can
